First of all you need to do a little research about Just Cause games. Modders will get to create one someday eventually. Definitely expecting a multiplayer mode from it given how good the JC multiplayer mod is, but there isn't one here, so I'd consider it a missed opportunity. There are some technical issues here and there, but overall it is a game that I find fun to play. Rico looks ugly in this game, which sometimes breaks immersion. Most of them look the same and do not have enough variation (especially when JC2 has mountains, cities, tropical forests and deserts combined together in one map). While it has captured it well, it feels a bit bland. However, I am very disappointed about the game's setting.

Explosion are of course fun to watch, even though it may grow tiring sometimes. It really do give players a lot of options. The grappling hook is more enhanced than that of JC2, which is also a good thing. Just play Just cause 2, you won't be missing out on anything. Incredibly boring and dull side activities.

The destruction challenges are a waste of time and their only purpose is to unlock the gear mods. The side missions are a joke, all you have is races(which are the exact same as in Just Cause 2), and these destruction challenges. The story is nothing special and it's incredibly short. Sure, that's fun at first, but it wears off very very fast. All you do in this game is blow stuff up. Just Cause 3 gets incredibly dull and boring very fast.
